He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Lee and Mary Pearl Robinson Lee; and his sister Nettie Pearl Allen. He is survived by: his aunt Verna Mae; his son Willie Smith (Nadine) of Jacksonville, Florida; his grandsons, Nathaniel of Jacksonville and Emmanuel Smith of Jacksonville; his great-niece Lashae Mitchell of Lake Butler, Florida; his great-nephews, CJ Spiller (Daysha) of Six Mile and Darren Alexander of New Orleans, Louisiana; his cousin Bennie Hudson of Jacksonville, Florida.; his close friends, Rome, Kim Givens and Betty Jones; and also Shania.

The family has requests to practice social distancing and that masks be worn at the service.
