He is survived by: his mother Gloria M. Davis (Mark) of Mars Hill, NC; the mother of his children Casey Phelps of Mayo, FL; and his sons, Austin Phelps of Mayo, FL, Bryce Phelps of Mayo, FL and Scott Phelps (April) of Albany, GA..
