He was predeceased by: his parents, Clora Mae Hewitt Walker and Joseph "Doc" Leonard Walker Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Glenda; his children, Kathy McCray (Edward) and Steve Walker; his grandchildren, Kristi Condy (Geoff), Matthew Boatright, Zane Walker (Caitlin) and Zoie Musgrove (Tyler); and his sister Betty McCray (Lamar). He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
