She was predeceased by: her parents, Alois Spath and Katarina Enghofer Spath; her husband Arnold Tomanek; her brother Alois "Lou" Spath; and her son-in-law Dwight Smith.

She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Smith (Rich Torello) and Joan Hutchison (James); her grandchildren, Kimberly Lesczynski, Kyle Smith (Amy), Jill Jurkiewicz and Crystal Wysocki (Mike); her great grandchildren, Alyssa Lesczynski, Anthony Lesczynski, Ava Smith, Emily Smith, Tristen Smith and Tyler Jmes Wysocki; and her sister-in-law Marlene Spath.
