He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard McNichols and Lela McNichols; his wife Audrey L. Collar; his siblings, Harold and Barbara; and his siblings-in-law, Art Sommers, Larry Young and Karyl McNichols.
He is survived by: his children, Marianne Zuehlke (Donald) of Shawano, WI, Michelle Olla (Robert) of Amherst, WI, Steven McNichols (Brenda) of Janesville, WI, Michael McNichols (Polly) of Bremerton, WA, Stephanie Hanson (Daryle) of Stevens Point, WI, Kevin McNichols (Jody) of Bancroft, WI, Brian McNichols of Hortonville, WI and Kelly Steichen (Allen) of Rochester, MN; and his siblings, Jeannine Conradt (Leroy), David McNichols (Marlene), Arlyn McNichols (Blanc), Patricia Schroeder (Richard), Bonnie Lambie (Ronald), Thomas McNichols (Jean), Donna Borszich (Robert), Sally Wunderlich (William), Cynthia Ogurek (Robert), Colleen Arendt (Jan) and Suzanne Young. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 28 great-granchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ss Peter & Paul Catholic Church (107 N Olk St, Hortonville, WI 54944). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to The American Legion Boys and Girls State Program.
