It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Norman Shawger Jr. of Mary Esther, Florida, who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Ann Shawger; his sister Elizabeth Kamis; and his brother-in-law Richard Kamis. He is survived by: his children, Eric Shawger (Yori), Peter Shawger (Melissa) and Susan Fowler (Dan); his grandchildren, Jason Shawger (Samantha Ernest), Danielle Knight (C. J.), Sydney Fowler, Sabrina Fowler, Brittney Lilly (J. R.), Drew Kirsch and Michelle Morehouse (Tom Kitzmiller); his great grandchildren, Gwynn Shawger, Duke Knight, Colt Knight, Emerson Lilly, Peyton Lilly, Caden Ernest and Oliver Ernest; and also Christine Diaz (Gilbert).
A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (403 Racetrack Rd NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547).
