She is survived by: her children, Dacia, Cesar, Brenda and Hiram Alcalá; her siblings, Esther Chavez, Benigno, Daniel, Jose Maria and Francisco Chávez; her grandchildren, Karen, Jennifer, Arlene, Fernanda Alcala, Melissa, Kayra Muñoz, José Carlos and Alex Rodríguez; and her great grandchildren, Emily, Bethany Teran Alcalá and Amelia Straut.
