He was predeceased by: his wife Gladine P. Shores; his son Wendell Shores; his granddaughter Brittany Marie Hutt; and his siblings, Donald Shores, Annie Mae Taylor and Lucille Shores.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffery Shores and Sharon Lynn Hutt (Kevin); his granddaughters, Stephanie Shores, Jessica Shores and Kayla Shores; and his brothers, Donnie Shores and David Shores. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
