Larry left this world on March 17, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mathew Bennett and Martha Alma Pierce Bennett; his wife Ann Bennett; his son Tony Bennett; and his brothers, Roy Bennett, Robert Bennett and Edward Bennett.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dianna Purvis (Michael) of Marianna, FL and Belinda Spofford (Stan); his grandchildren, Chris Purvis, Jacob Purvis, Ryann Barong, Amanda Baxter, Lindsey Howell and Joshua Baxter; and his sister Ann Bennett. He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Purvis Funeral Home (207 E Mitchell St, Adel, GA 31620). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
