He was predeceased by: his daughter Stephanie Wright; his parents, James Gordon and Frances Merlene Etheridge; and his siblings, Barbara Mertis, Marjorie Gaylord, Martha Paulk and Larry Etheridge.
He is survived by: his sisters, Merlene Donley (Mack), Betty Tittle (Daryl) of Dothan, Claranel Vandevender (Bobby) of Blue Grass, VA and Sherry Lewis of Fort Gaines, GA.; and his son-in-law Michael Wright of Marianna, FL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church (223 Washington St, Fort Gaines, GA 39851). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
