He was predeceased by: his father George Pfister; and his siblings, Veronica O'Hara, Ruth Dyer, Betty Cronk, Colleen Sherman, Robert Pfister, George Pfister and Maurice Pfister (Mo).

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Pfister; and his children, Peter, Gaylord (Mike), David, Brant, Terry, Michelle, Chivon, Rebecca, Rachel and Samantha. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
