She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Coy, Estelle Barber, Raymond Vernon Holt and Perry Lee Skinner; and her parents, Hurston Harold (Hook) and Mary Annette Barber.
She is survived by: her husband Scott Yant; her daughter Amanda Yant (Barry) of Jacksonville, FL; her brother Greg Barber Sr. of Alford, FL; her nephews, Greg Barber (Rita), Dusty Barber (Dayna), John Barber (Aeryole) and Jarrett Barber of Jackson County, FL; and her cousins, Sandra Avant (Rodney) of Tallahassee, FL and Kim Joyner (Steve) of Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces, and a great-nephew.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home (3960 W Lafayette St, Marianna, FL 32446). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (2898 Jefferson St, Marianna, FL 32446).
