He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Chester, Sr. Deering and Hattie Deering; his children, Shalonda Hunter-Harris of Washington, DC, Va'Netta Deering of Detroit, Christal Barnes (David) of Detroit and Jarrett Deering of Detroit, Michigan; his brother Freddie Deering (Rosa) of Los Angelos, California; and his nieces and nephews, Patrick Hall of Columbus, Tammy Jackson of Montgomery, Alabama, Tyrone Perry (Candice) of Greenville and Keishia Durham (Jerry) of Macon, Georgia. He was also cherished by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
