He was predeceased by: his wife Nelma "Nell" Joyce Davis Odom; his parents, John Wesley Odom and Abbie Vickers Odom; his stepmother Bessie Vickers Odom; his granddaughter Lori Michelle Whitman; and his siblings, Rufus Odom, Paul Odom, Lloyd Odom, Robert Odom, Doyle Odom, Shirley Odom Ammons and Sadie Ruth Odom Lovett.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Ann Odom of Madison, TN, Charles "Chuck" R. Odom (Annette) and Joy Odom Evans (Jared) of Marianna, FL; his grandchildren, Phil Whitman, Weston Evans (Courtney), Alexandra Moran, Hayden Moran and McKenna Evans; and his great grandchildren, Maddex Johnson-Montgomery, Layla Evans and Atlas Evans. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
