Though Buffie Wright may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Buffie Wright touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her mother Rebecca Wright; and her grandson Brody Thomas. She is survived by: her father Jerome Wright; her children, Tyler Keith Chambliss (Jennifer) of Albany, GA and Kristen Chambliss Lipford (Thomas) of Cottondale, FL; her siblings, Treaver Wright (Nicole) of Cape Coral, FL and Robin Mercer (Andy) of Marianna, FL; and her grandchildren, Brantley Keith Chambliss and Hunter Knox Lipford. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Obert Funeral Home Chapel (731 Kirkland Rd, Chipley, FL 32428). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
