She was predeceased by: her parents, James Roberts, and Donnie Hare Roberts, Sr.; her husband Ervin Nelson; her children, Gail Wolstenholme and Michael Tinsley; and her brothers, Fred Roberts, Donald Roberts and Julian Roberts.

She is survived by: her siblings, Millard Roberts (Cherry), David Roberts (Mary Lou), Alice Roberts Shoptaw (Bobby) and Avis Roberts Blair (Don); and her grandchildren, Jason Tinsley, Abraham Tinsley, Jacob Tinsley, Yvonne Dilts, R. J. Dilts, McGregor Wolstenholme and Bobbi Wolstenholme.
