He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Kane and Gladys Kane; his wife Christine Preudhomme Kane; his sister Irene Kroll; his granddaughter Krystal Kane Boulton; and his stepson Wayne Lowthorp.
He is survived by: his siblings, Audrey Loy, Norman Kane (Trish) and Dan Kane; his children, Donna Durand (Daniel) and Robert Kane (Janice); and his stepdaughters, Valerie Jordan and Karen Bryer. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, plus several nieces and nephews.
