She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Luis Augusto Ordóñez Salas and María Enriqueta Román of Ordóñez; her husband Gustavo Duffaut; and her children, Alfredo, Patricia, Gustavo and Rafael. She was also cherished by eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
