She is survived by: her sons, Gene Sisson (Kathy) and Lance Sisson (Lynn); her grandchildren, Michael Sisson (Jennifer), Robbie Sisson (Laken), Chancelyn and Chaisson Sisson; her great grandchild Faith Sisson; her significant other Bill Northrop; and her close friends, Brock Wilson (Julie), Bill Pavion (Georgia), Vanetta Long Sisson and Stephanie Irvin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Valerie's name to the American Cancer Society.
