He was predeceased by: his wife Sondra Harrison McGee. He is survived by: his sons, Richard Jr. (Lauren) and Devin (Jenny); his grandchildren, Haley Bozel (Dylan), Trey McGee, Cameron McGee, Elle McGee, Phoebe McGee and Gage McGee; and his great grandchild Briggs Bozel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association.
