It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ned J Gruca of Marco Island, Florida, who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ned J Gruca to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ned Gruca and Helen Gruca. He is survived by: his sister Genevieve Bell (Edward); his wife Dolores Geske; his children, David Gruca (Andrea) of Illinois and Karen Shook (Jason) of Florida; his grandchildren, Madeline, Lauren Gruca and Colin; his children, Ella and Corey Shook; and his sister-in-law Carol Conboy (Peter).

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home (10501 W Cermak Rd, Westchester, IL 60154). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:15 AM and at 11:00 AM at the St. John of the Cross Church (5005 Wolf Rd, Western Springs, IL 60558).
