He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Keith Pierce, Sr. and Martha Yvonne Thompson; and his siblings, MaryAnn Yeckley and John Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Tura Pierce; his children, Sandra Hoffman (Jack) and Brian Pierce; and his grandson Bentley Hoffman. He is also survived by 4 nieces, 2 nephews, and numerous cousins.
