He was predeceased by: his father Winfred Bell. He is survived by: his wife Hettie J. C. Bell; his sons, Rodney Bell of Arab, AL, Rusty Bell (Kathy) of Dothan, AL, Duane Bell (Gayle) of Slocomb, AL, Charles "Shorty" Carraway of Marianna, FL and James Carraway (Patricia); his siblings-in-law, John Jacobs of Birmingham, Rev. Ken Beard (Flora Beard) of Malone, Ollie Sullivan of Marianna, Dorothy Mathis of Malone, Ethel Dehart of Winter Haven and Alma Tina Sims of Altha; and his close friends, Mervin Land, Vern Hall, Johnny "Red" Thompson and Rev. Johnny Hamilton. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Children Hospital.
