She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Roe McArthur; her son Steven Rex McArthur; and her parents, Porter Turner and Helen Turner. She is survived by: her children, David McArthur (Jacquelyn) of Grand Ridge, Larry McArthur (Pamela) of Malone and Susan Mathis (Chuck) of Marianna; her sister Betty Williams of Malone; her grandchildren, Joanna Padgett (Lee) of Abbeville, AL, Jennifer McArthur of Dothan, AL, Jim McArthur (Damara) of Malone, Jessica Thomas (Austin) of Marianna, Shelby Mathis of Marianna, Jordan Mathis of Malone and Noah McArthur of Grand Ridge; her great grandchildren, Hunter, Trevor Padgett, Atlynn, Cassidy, Ellie Rose McArthur, Cooper Thomas, Beau and Charlotte Thomas; and her caregivers, Sherri, Peggy, Whitney and Marlene. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home (3960 W Lafayette St, Marianna, FL 32446). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church (6045 FL-2, Bascom, FL 32423). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery (6045 FL-2, Bascom, FL 32423).
