He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kita Lawson; his children, Carrie Barnes and Curtis "Lee" Lawson, Jr.; his grandchildren, Ronda Lawson, Audree Lawson, Andrianna Barnes, James Barnes, III and Braden Blunt; his great grandchild Malaysia Watkins; and his siblings, Phyllis Conrad, Brenda Gillenwater (James Earl), Carol Zink (Mel), Ivita Lonney (Jack) and Ronald Lawson (Rosie).
