It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Irene Pierson (Maitland, Florida), born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on May 3, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Hancock and Marguerite Hancock (Mitchell); and her brothers, Leo Hancock Jr. and Rhea Hancock. She is survived by: her husband John B. Pierson; her children, John B. Pierson, Jr., Deborah Zimmerman Altamonte (Gary) of Springs, FL and Jeff Pierson (Maureen); her grandchildren, Jason Zimmerman Winter (Janelle) of Garden, FL, James, Brian Zimmerman (Chloe) and Jessica Torres; and her great grandchildren, Peyton Zimmerman, Jocelyn Torres and Porter Zimmerman.
All these, organizations support the Shriners Hospitals for Children, a charity very dear to them both.
