Robert D. Kersten Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert D. Kersten of Maitland, Florida, born in Carlinville, Illinois, who passed away on December 28, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Kerstein and Beulah Kerstein; his wife Bonita Sue McCool Kersten; and his brothers, Randall, Ronald and Kenneth.
He is survived by: his children, Susan (John Martin) and John; his grandchildren, Bryan Martin (Lauren), Sean Martin (Megan), Darren Martin (Alli), Kelsey Martin, Cole Kersten and Lane Kersten; and his great grandchildren, Jake Martin, Scott Martin, Eleanor Martin and Ty Martin. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to UCF Engineering Scholarships or North Park Baptist Church.
