He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas John Jr. and Frances Beggs (Wadsworth); and his siblings, Frances Beggs Winter, Ann Beggs Reddick, Thomas John Beggs III and Ashley Paramore Beggs.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Naughton Beggs; his children, Frances Corine Beggs Litton of Fort Myers, Florida, William Turner Beggs Jr. of Orlando and Edward Charles "Ted" Beggs (Carol) of Madison, Florida; his grandchildren, Katie McKeogh-Jones (Jeff), Michael McKeogh (Dana), Alexa Beggs, Reed Gaston, Mason Gaston and Teagan Beggs; his great grandchildren, Keeley McKeogh and Kieran Woolverton; his sisters-in-law, Mary Carol Naughton Gonzalez (Larry) and Louise Naughton Waldron; and also Laura Scott Dorsch. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
