He was predeceased by: his parents, David Warren Garrison, Sr. and Evelyn Blair Garrison; his grandmother Ann; his wife Ruth Sasser Garrison; and his brother David Warren Garrison, Jr..

He is survived by: his uncle Willet; his aunt Carrow Binion; his grandfather Clarence Honegger; his sons, Buddy (William B. Garrison, Jr), Mike (Charles M. Garrison) and Steve (Steven Binion Garrison); his grandchildren, Diane Langston (Daniel), Carrow Lamb (Josh), Michael Garrison (Laurel Griffin), Annalyn, Evelyn and Bin Garrison; and his great grandchildren, Gemma, Travis Langston and Charlie Lamb.
