He is survived by: his wife Oneida Sparks Matheny; his children, Thomas Matheny Jr., Stephen Matheny (Danna) and Mark Matheny (Kelly); and his grandchildren, Brad Pridgeon, Taylor Matheny, Steve Matheny, Alex Matheny, Maggie Matheny, Jake Matheny and Troy Matheny. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
