He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Beggs Jr. and Frances Wadsworth Beggs; his wife Mary Jane Merritt Beggs; and his siblings, Frances Winter, Ann Reddick and Ashley Beggs.
He is survived by: his brother William Turner Beggs; and his grandchildren, Elsa Wilson Cruz (Gustavo), Ian Wilson (Jackie), Hannah Wilson, Elliott Wilson, Evan Wilson, Bo Stone (Heidi), Jessi Stone, Jami Stone, Elena Beggs and John Beggs.
