With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shawn Powell of Madison, Florida, born in Fort Pierce, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 45. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Powell and Patricia Powell; and his brother Mike Powell. He is survived by: his wife Jodi Powell; his children, Austin Sampson, Dylan Sampson (Olivia) and Sierra Powell; his grandchildren, Cooper Sampson, Braelyn Sampson, Madison Sampson (Austin), Emory Sampson and Eisley Sampson (Dylan); and his siblings, Robert Allen Powell (Terri) and Kathryn Shumate (Mason). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Joe P. Burns Funeral Home of Madison (323 Lake Shore Dr, Madison, FL 32340). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
