He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Elizabeth Sexton (Knowles) and Vergil Granville Sexton; and his brothers, Kenneth and Donnie Sexton. He is survived by: his wife Gladys E Sexton (Smith); his daughters, Yvonne (Jimmy Skinner), Joyce Sexton and Lettie (Quint Deas); and his grandchildren, Brad G Sexton, Peyton Skinner, Jackson Skinner, Ella Deas and Mason Deas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held the next day, Wednesday, August 4th, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Macedonia Baptist Cemetery.In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Fisher House: 5106 Northwest 8th Avenue Gainesville, Florida 32065.
