She was predeceased by: her parents, David Thigpen and Sadie Thigpen; her husband Wilbur Jerome Thompson; and her siblings, Lilly Mae Moore, Thomas Thigpen and W. H. Thigpen.
She is survived by: her son Doug Thompson (Danise Watson) of Valdosta, GA; her close friend E. G. Fox (Buddy) of Madison, FL; her sisters, Lorina Eakins of Clearwater, FL, Myrtice Hagan (Harold) and Myrtle Partain of Lake Wales, FL; and her pets, Tom and Lucky. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
