It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Letha Hicks of Madison, Florida, born in Pinetta, Florida, who passed away on December 11, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clarence Buchanan and Vaniah Gaston Buchanan; her husband Manning Hicks; her children, Rose Oberlin (Billy Hendricks) of Blue Ridge, Lynne Sapp of Madison, Florida and Jay Hicks of Madison, Florida; her sisters, Clare Williams of Valdosta and Onita Kimbrell of Pinetta, Florida; her grandchildren, Stephanie Doyle (Travis), Christie Bradfield (Troy) and Kayla Davis (Jarrett); and her great grandchildren, Bailie Bradfield, Clayton Bradfield, Ada Bradfield and Draper Davis.
The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to the music program of First Baptist Church, Madison, 134 SW Meeting Ave., Madison, FL 32340.
