With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Evans of Madison, Florida, born in Madison, New Jersey, who passed away on November 11, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his friend John; his parents, W. Kelton Evans and Edith Horton Evans; his wife Barbara Willits; his sister Betty Franklin; his children, Jeffrey Harris Evans of Truckee, Laura Willits Evans of Palm Beach and Caroline Evans Jones of Vero Beach; his grandchildren, Christopher, Megan, Michael and Diana; his great grandchild Ellie; and his close friend Manette Goodman (Molly) of Vero Beach.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Presbyterian Church of Basking Ridge, New Jersey, or to the First Presbyterian Church of Vero Beach Music Fund, 520 Royal Palm Boulevard, Vero Beach FL 32960.
