He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Simeon Beaty and Thelma Beaty; his wife Barbara; his sons, Kem (Cheryl) of Jennings, Kerry (Laquita) of Plant City, Simeon (Becky) of Jacksonville, NC and Scott (Mayla) of Live Oak; his brother Raymond M. Beaty (Kay); and his daughter Elizabeth Shumate. He was also cherished by his 13 grand-children and 13 great grand-children.
