He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Melvin Thomas and Ruby McCracken Thomas; his sisters, Nell Holton and Glenda Dietrich; his wife Sue; his children, Scott (Blaine) of Ponte Vedra and Alana of St. Johns; his grandchildren, Ava and Rowan; his siblings, Kathryn Hale (Eddie), Lee, Rachel Penny, Tommie Bodenstein, Madison and Lester Thomas; and his brothers-in-law, Hansel Holton and Perry Dietrich. He was also cherished by his many nieces and nephews.
