She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Colson and Mattie Colson; and her husband Mike Scott. She is survived by: her children, Hank Strickland (Monica) of Madison, Laura Strickland (Sherrie) of Starke, Annette Thorton (Robert) of Lake Park, Georgia, Joe Carter (Beadie) of Statenville, Logan Fadden of Madison, Florida, Lynn and Jackie Curry; and her cousin Deon McPherson. She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren, 5 extended Grandchildren, and 11 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Beggs Funeral Home - Madison Chapel (235 NW Orange Ave, Madison, FL 32340).
