He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hunter Kelley and Lou Griner Kelley; his siblings, Ralph, Wilmer Kelley, Lucille and Revell; his son-in-law Leon Dowdee, Jr.; his grandson Lee Dowdee; his wife Jewel Smith Kelley of Madison; and his son Richard Kelley (Karen) of Ormond Beach, Florida. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
