He was predeceased by: his parents, Hardy Bailey and Esther Chason Bailey; and his siblings, Malcolm Bailey, Lillian Bailey Taylor and Sylvia Ann Bailey.

He is survived by: his siblings, Anita Bailey Burnett of Greenville and Irving Bailey of Perry. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Big bend Hospice.
