He is survived by: his wife Lonette Rye of Lee, Florida; his children, Darren Rye (Kim) of Jasper, Florida and Deanna Phillips (John) of Lee, Florida; his sisters, Betty Hunter of Vero Beach and Belinda Chason of Tallahassee, Florida; and his grandchildren, Darren James Rye, Jr. of Jasper, Ethan Rye of Jasper, FL, Haley Phillips of Lee, Cailbre Johnson of Lee, Will Phillips of Lee and Gracelyn Phillips of Lee, FL.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
