He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Burnette and Martelle Burnette; and his siblings, John Wayne "Buddy" Burnette and Judy Sparks. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Boden Burnette of Madison, Florida; his daughter Crysti Handfield (Clint) of Moultrie, Georgia; his sister Robyn Langford of Lake Park, Georgia; and his grandsons, Cooper, Reid and Grady Handfield.
