She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Waits and Louanna Waits; and her husband Louis Downing. She is survived by: her son John Hartley (Teena); her sister Gerry Leding (Pat); her friend Teresa Gallegos; and her grandmother Sue. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
