She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilario Mederos Mederos and Dolores Hernandez Sanchez; her husband Eladio Gerardo Rubio (Gera); and her siblings, Pepe, Danilo, Pancho and Pucha.

She is survived by: her son Gerard (Rohnda); her grandson Eduardo; her daughter Ileana; her grandson George; her children, Georgia, Ed (Caryn) and George (Heidi); her grandchildren, Anthony, Amy, Jonathan, Christopher, Nina, Lauren and Lorenzo; and her great grandchildren, Zach, Katie and Lizzie.
