He was predeceased by: his parents, Floridians Lucius Parks and Bethel Drury Smallwood. He is survived by: his children, Zackary Vincent Smallwood, Jr (Shirley), Tamara Sue Ellison (Eric) and Teri Smallwood Looper (Joel); his siblings, Rachel Denmark and Bill Smallwood; and his friend Madge Casey. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren.
