He was predeceased by: his daughters, Sharon Long and Shirley Dugger; his parents, James Clarence and Gussie Combs Smith, Sr.; and his siblings, Junior Smith and Lois Lyons.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Michael Long (Meliah) of Macclenny, Brandy Burnham (Trent) of Macclenny and Cortney Hall (Kyle) of Glen St; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Madison, Mason Burnham, Kaylee Long, Mallorie and Kyle Hall II.
