It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Usn LCDR James E. Schneider of Macclenny, Florida, who passed away on March 10, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Usn's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Schneider and Dannye Schneider (Daniel); and his son John Christopher VanVactor. He is survived by: his wife Cherry; his sons, James, Jacob and Joshua (Stephanie); and his siblings, Peter (Kari), Cathi Krimmel and Michael (Nancy). He is also survived by three beautiful grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Orange Park Christian Church (2876 Moody Ave, Orange Park, FL 32073).
