He was predeceased by: his parents, Juanita Horne (Smith) and Robert Lee Horne Jr.; and his siblings, David Horne and Mary Lyons. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Horne; his children, Kim Pelfrey (Garry) and Russell Horne; his siblings, Bob Horne (Nancy), Bill Horne (Cindy), Susan Posey, Mike Horne (Sharon), Nancy Johnson (Tommy), Danny Horne (Kathy) and Jenny Thompson (Billy); his siblings-in-law, Greg Lyons (Denise) and Tami Horne; and his granddaughters, Savannah and Kerrigan Pelfrey. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Raiford Road Church (9201 FL-121, Macclenny, FL 32063). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at the Oak Grove Cemetery (6862 County Rd 23C, Glen St Mary, FL 32040).
