He is survived by: his daughters, Tonya Tarte (Wallace) and Tisha Holland; his grandchildren, Caban Tarte and Meara-Lynn Carter (Drew); his great grandchildren, Wade of Macclenny and Drake Carter of Macclenny; his sister Benetta Love (Louis) of Hanahan; and his sister-in-law Bobbie Holland (Georgia) of Duluth. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
